Sunrise Smoothie
Recipe by Nicole Thom-Arens
Makes 1 (16 ounces) Smoothie
This smoothie is a delightful way to start the day or a great afternoon pick-me-up. It’s light, refreshing, and keeps me going until lunch. Most days, my breakfast consists of this smoothie or my overnight oats. You can cut this recipe in half for a smaller serving.
Ingredients: 1/2 cup tropical frozen fruit mix (I like the mango strawberry variety from Target, which also includes pineapple.)1/2 cup almond milk (I like to use the 60-calorie original variety.)1/2 cup orange juice (My favorite is Simply Orange.)1/4 cup non-fat Greek yogurt (I use Chobani.)
Instructions:
There are no real steps to this one. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until the fruit is well blended. Enjoy!
